oz cream cheese, softened
cups diced cooked chicken
cup grated cheddar cheese
cans (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent rolls
Ranch dressing, for serving
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the cream cheese, chicken, cheddar, and jalapeños to a medium mixing bowl and stir well until combined.
Open the packages of crescent rolls and lay the long end out in a ring, overlapping them to form the base. The center circle should be about 5 inches in diameter.
Spoon the filling mixture along the base of the crescent ring.
Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve hot, with ranch dressing for dipping.
- Toss some crispy fried bacon into the filling to add even more flavor!
More About This Recipe
- Know what I love? A crispy, crunchy deep fried jalapeño popper, that’s what.I mean, is there anything more divine than biting into that crispy exterior to discover a spicy pepper loaded with cheesy goodness?Well...maybe. What would you think if I told you that I took all the frying out of jalapeño poppers and instead turned them into a big ol’ party ring of flaky, delicious crescent dough? All the flavors of a popper, none of the stinky deep frying. You guys are going to love this simple recipe! You’re going to need two packs of crescent rolls, some diced cooked chicken, a handful of grated cheddar cheese, three jalapeño peppers and a brick of cream cheese.I like to pop a bowl of ranch dressing right in the center of the ring to make dipping easy. (I don’t know about you, but I have to have ranch with my poppers!)
